SudTitles is an agency based in Palermo, Sicily, dedicated to promoting film culture and making audiovisual content accessible. It specializes in the creation, translation, and cueing of subtitles for national and international production companies, broadcasters, and film festivals. Committed to inclusive cinema, SudTitles develops accessibility services, including subtitles for Deaf and hard of hearing audiences, audio description for blind and partially sighted individuals, and video content in sign languages. The agency is also involved in the financial, logistical, and artistic organization of film festivals and cine-clubs.
Turin Institute for the Deaf
Italy

Founded in 1814, the Turin Institute for the Deaf has always focused on education, with tailored learning programs for Deaf and hard of hearing students and teacher training to support inclusive classrooms. Today, its activities extend to adult education, vocational training, and projects promoting universal accessibility, particularly in museums and cultural institutions. The institute collaborates with universities on research, language rehabilitation, and social services, while also offering language courses in sign languages. The institute is a national leader in sign language teaching, research, and documentation. It produces sign language videos in Italian Sign Language and International Sign for museums, public institutions, and private companies.

Located in Nitra, Slovakia, Constantine the Philosopher University (CPU) is a multidisciplinary institution dedicated to education, research, and cultural development. It provides university programs in education, arts, social sciences, humanities, natural sciences, and health care, with a strong focus on fostering knowledge and creativity. With five faculties and approximately 7,000 students, CPU plays a key role in training future professionals. The university brings expertise in audiovisual translation, media accessibility, and sign language studies to the SUBSIGN project, supporting research and the development of new subtitling methodologies for sign languages.
